What's Going On At Hubpages?

If you haven't heard of hubpages.com, or the HubNugget program, you should definitely head on over, and have a look. I write for several online communities, and hubpages is far and away my favorite. I have found the writers and staff to be the friendliest and most supportive group of people around, and the HubNugget program is a shining example of this.


So what is a HubNugget? In short, it is hubpages way of saying "Nice Job!" If you have recently joined hubpages, and have written a quality hub (article), the HubNugget team will find it and showcase it in a weekly hub of their own. We include a link to your hub, and a poll for hubbers and non-hubbers alike to vote for their favorite.


Traditionally, 10 potential HubNuggets, or Wannabes, have been selected for the weekly poll, with the top 5 vote-getters being announced as winners. In recent weeks, however, an influx of truly talented newcomers has prompted us to widen the field to 15 wannabes!


The 5 winners are announced in the hubpages forums, and links to their hubs are published in the weekly newsletter. The newsletter reaches tens of thousands of readers, so the the prize, here, is an immediate increase in readership, and a growing fan base.
